The Ramp

Wednesday, January 08, 2014

“What’s he doing Loz?”

“Getting ready to kill himself by the looks of it.”

“Did he build that ramp today? I don’t remember it being there this morning.”

“Ladies and Ladies! The great Kadaj is about to attempt the greatest trick every imagined!”

“Well if he doesn’t kill himself trying to do this, then I will!”

“Calm down Loz, don’t let him get to you.”

Kadaj stretched his arms up to the sky, took his place on his board and… BAM! The other two boys started to laugh as Kadaj picked himself up.

“Only you would find a way to trip over the board and fall face first into the ramp like that,” Loz mocked.

“Yeah the only thing great about that was the front flip,” Yazoo joked.

“Shut up! It’s not funny… I think I chip a tooth,” Kadaj demanded trying to hold back tears.

“Little brother you didn’t just chip a tooth,” Yazoo corrected, “You knocked it out.”

Kadaj gasped and spun around. There on the ramp beneath his feet was a tooth. “At least the tooth fairy will be visiting tonight.”

Kadaj picked up the tooth and slowly walked inside.

“How much trouble do you think he’ll be in when mom and dad find out,” Loz asked.

“Most likely not as much trouble as we’ll be in for letting him build a ramp in the backyard and attempt a trick on it,” Yazoo answered.

“So can I stay in the TARDIS with you tonight?”

“No Loz, you’re on your own.”
